Sheesh...

<...If this is the law, how is it that holding the law to the letter must now be regarded as vote-tampering? The Dems read the fine print, the Reps did not. I thought this was one of the reasons so many politicians are lawyers...

Cripes, Dan, the point is not whether the law is valid, or even whether or not these ballots should be disqualified.

The point is the hypocrisy of the Democratic Party. Am I maybe using the word wrong? The Democrats crap liberally on specific election laws when it buys their party votes, witness Florida and New Jersey, among others. Their justification? So that every vote counts, and no voter is "disenfranchised" by some "arbitrary rule."

Then they turn around and apply the rigid letter of the law to Republican ballots, or in the case of Florida, military ballots that were likely to be Republican.

Am I the only one who sees this?
