Two quick comments: As to your first statement above, I'll simply reply that no, they have not been.
Address, for example, the planted Mohammed Atta passport which supposedly survived exploding plane, and burning, collapsing towers only to be found days later, only slightly singed, on the streets of Manhatten.
And I don't care what stories from AW you posted, they still do not address the simple fact that regulations were not followed, and the interceptors were not scrambled when they should have been.
Nor do you address the amazing fact that the headquarters of the world's most powerful military did not defend itself against a plane whose whereabouts and course were being announced on local TV!
Sensible people, indeed.
