I wonder if you include Julia Sweeny in your list of "sensible people?"

Rather than drop her lawsuit to find out what really happened, she refused $1.7 million, a sum she refers to as a "government buyout."

For people like Julia Sweeny, the truth is worth more than a million bucks.
