Though, not in several years. I would not accuse him of requesting death threats, and neither did Daschle.
If you think that Rush's "passionate" anti-Democratic rhetoric doesn't stir up a lot of folks on the darker side of the Republicans then you are being (deliberately or not) naive. He appeals very directly to negative emotions and increases them as far as he is able to do. People raising lynch mobs sound much the same (if you ignore the actual content of the words).
I want Bush to show me proof that he receives 200 death threats a day.
