<Roughly the same amount of times that the right claims that the left wants to rob you to give to the poor
This is called income redistribution, which is a central tenant of Democrat politics.
to keep the poor poor
When the Left promotes policies that do exactly that, then it's appropriate to call them on it. Examples include writing welfare laws to give money to teenaged girls who get pregnant so long as they don't marry the kid's father. That was how the laws were written for a long time. A good friend of mine, a black man and solid Democrat, said those laws did more to destroy black families than anything the KKK could've dreamed of doing.
to steal elections,
We have proof that Democrats have broken the law to steal elections. I've posted some of this just last week. The Chicago Democrat machine practically brags about their election theft. They brazenly broke New Jersey law this fall to replace a candidate that was destine to lose his Senate seat. Their operatives were caught filing fraudulent voter registrations in South Dakota - in the exact district that swung the Senate election at the last minute.
to rape businesses
They do that all the time with punitative regulations that drive up the cost of business so they're unable to compete with foreign companies.
That being a liberal is tantamount to selling your soul to Stalin, is unpatriotic, that they all want to either have the biggest, baddest governmental power around, or lay waste to western civilization in the name of the environment.
I've never said any of those things but it does describe the policies of some of the extremists on the liberal side. I know that Tom can supply quotes from liberal extremists that support each one of those statements you listed.
Perhaps some of that antipathy comes from anger at being called bigots, racists, Fascists and Nazis by liberals for so many years. Frankly, I'm not going to put up with that crap and will verbally jump all over anyone who makes such insinuations.
