Re: Poetry (sic) and Cartoons

Well, The Windmills of your Mind was a popular song of the late 60's and was featured in the soundtrack of the Steve McQueen, Faye Dunaway movie "The Thomas Crown Affair".

I used it because, as I noted, the arguments of those calling for war on Iraq are circular.

When one invalid argument (for war) is challanged, you guys move on to another invalid argument, and so on, until we end up right back where we started.

And around and around and around she goes, and where it stops, nobody knows, demonstrating once again the old verity that a moving target is hard to hit.

Tom Tomorrow's cartoon illustrates this beautifully, and has saved me (and spared you) 1000 words.

It's not evidence. Rather, it's a brilliant demonstration of the lame process by which the chickenhawks clamor for war.
