Louis Farrakhan is still respected by many on the Left (although fewer than in the past, thank goodness), and continues to strut the world stage as a representative of the Black Movement in America. Certainly he is still doing bang-up business.

Aside from his known views on Jews, he is firmly against interracial marriage. Note point 10 here.(Some of the other points are also worth noting.) Similar views, since discarded, apparently make Bob Jones University an abomination on the face of the Earth, and a politician can have his career wrecked by simply haven spoken there. How many liberal politicians have had their careers wrecked by speaking to Louis Farrakhan?
