I gave an example in an earlier post about what would have happened to a Republican who had wondered out loud why Hitler was so popular in Germany, and had pointed out all the good things Hitler had done for the German economy and the German people (at least the ones he considered "people.")

The corpse of that hapless Republican would currently be hanging from the Washington Monument while crows pecked at his eyesockets. Mussolini "making the trains run on time" was a horrible joke even years ago. Why is it okay for Murray?

And as others have pointed out, bin Laden has actually done none of these good things anyway. Fundamentalist Muslim day care centers??? Does anyone out there even THINK?
