US Foreign aid is enormous.

We're the Santa Claus to the whole world...we give and give and never get anything back but whining for more and more.

The fact that most of the folks in these regions are totally unaware of US assistance is part and parcel of the ignorance of the world.

Those who are aware are almost always saying, "It isn't enough."

That's the way it always is among ignorant peoples. They can't figure out for the life of them how to become productive or develop an industrial base worthy of sustaining their rabbit-like spawned populations. In fact, the only rapidly expanding industry in most of these "handout" regions is drugs and the copulation-for-tourist industries.

Oh well...
