That 25 to 1 figure looks pretty bad, until you factor out those who were actually attacking Israeli troops with rocks or guns, as opposed to standing on a corner and reading a newspaper.
We've been trying for decades, like I said. The Palestinian leadership doesn't want peace.
They NEVER wanted peace. The current intifada was planned and armed long before Sharon ever entered that temple.
Arafat, who has been running the show since 1969, grows fat and rich while children and other cannon fodder carry his bombs into cafes and pizza parlors, and throw rocks at tanks and armed soldiers to try and add to those death statistics that make Arafat look good and Israel look bad.
