As a matter of fact I have been doing intelligence research on the origins of the Palestinian rhetoric since day one of Israel's existence.

To show how meticulously balanced I am, I will start with Jewish terrorists.

I have researched early Israeli terrorism, which helped create this mutual-fanaticism contest between people's and religions. Israel's defensive efforts have always been overzealous - a result, or combination perhaps, of desperation or just religious fanaticism.

One of the funders and promoters of Jewish terrorists, was a man named Ben Hecht. Hecht was a circus acrobat at 15 and later a screenwriter in Hollywood.
He became the co-chairman for an organization called the American League for a Free Palestine. Hecht was one of a small group of Jews who encouraged a small group of Jewish terrorists, organized as a group known as Irgun.

He wrote newspaper ads in 1946 and 1947 that encouraged terrorism and encourages US contributions to the cause. An example of one of these ads:

The Jews of America are for you. You are their champions. You are the grin they wear. You are the feather in their hats.

Every time you blow up a British arsenal, or wreck a British jail, or send a British railroad train sky high, or rob a British bank, or let go with your guns and bombs at the British betrayers and invaders of your homeland, the Jews of America make a little holiday in their hearts.



Established Zionist organizations considered Hecht's group the "lunatic fringe" of American Jewry. Truman was approached by the British who demanded that Hecht be forbidden to raise money for terrorists. Truman, as always was half-hearted. He made a statement:

"Every resident and citizen of the United States to cooperate with the UN and to refrain in activities which promote violence in Palestine."

Hecht replied to the statement that Truman was "entitled to his opinion," and the British were miffed because the effort would in no way slow down the monies going into funding anti-British terror in Palestine.

Yes, Jews have not always tread the path of non-violence and have in fact embraced the violent methods of their Russian, Nazi and Egyptian antagonists.

Clearly groups like the Irgun helped set into motion a terrible chain of violence, which has continued for almost 60 years.

That said, Israel has been on the receiving end of an absolute policy of desired extermination. From Nasser and King Saud came the direct desire to eliminate Israel from the region and push Israel into the sea. As soon as Saud had become King, he asked his fellow arabs, "Why don't we sacrifice 10 million of our number to uproot Israel which to the arab world is like a cancer to the human body." This Jew-hate was all pervasive. Aramco was prohibited from hiring Jewish employees and an American receiving a letter with an Israeli post stamp was immediately deported.

The arab world was all chummy in this the vowed "destruction of Israel" bit - until Nasser seized the Suez canal. At that point King Saud didn't trust Nasser. King Saud had been funding Nasser's exploits lavishly.

He had not been told of the plan and heard of it at a state dinner. Saud got up at once and retired to his chambers, thereby ending the dinner for all attending. He stopped all funding of Nasser immediately and then embarked upon a foreign policy which further embraced the United States, a nation which was making their money possible and a nation which could be trusted.

Little has changed.

Today's Saudi Arabia can't trust Saddam or any of their Arab neighbors. Greed and bloodthirst is the recent history and heritage of this region and so civilized, well-armed Americans are welcomed to stay and help protect the Saudi Kingdom.

This suddenly opened up the new reality to many in the arab world-Israel was an undesirable neighbor, but was a less dangerous one than your fellow Arab neighbors.

So Israel and Palestine now meet in equal fanaticism. Israel in its "right to exist." and Palestine and the arab world in "Israel's extinction."

Fanaticism leads to heartless suicide bombers and equally leads to merciless retaliatory military actions.

Zionist control of the media is largely an illusion. While Jewish presence is tangible in the entertainment sector and higher than the population average - they can not lock out information or "filter" the media in the internet age.

This sort of stereotyping is reminiscent of the "Jewish moneylenders" and isthe equivalent of the lazy, indolent arab.

Neither are accurate generalizations.
