T. B. - "It's not the government's money in the first place. It's that simple."
When you purchase something at the grocery store, the money is the stores, not yours. You act as if you should get it back.
In the economic system which is the US, the wealthy SHOULD pay more because they are getting more. A bit like sitting at the $100 blackjack tables in Las Vegas. Costs more because you can win more.
It takes more of an infrastructure to keep wealthy people going than it takes a person flipping burgers or mowing lawns. And that costs more.
Simple.
You want the wealthy to pay as if they were sitting at the $2 table and still collect as if they were at the $100.
Insanity. This system costs money to run, and it costs the most to run it for the wealthy.
Look at what's left, look at living superbly well, and be grateful.
And stop begrudging the poorer the bare essentials of life, including medical care. It's unbecoming to be so baldly selfish.
