Sums up the basic logic and reason behind why war, although an awful thing, is preferable to a WMD equipped Saddam sharing nukes, Sarin and who knows what else with folks with "anti-US" and "anti-zionist" ideologies.

Unfortunately common sense is not a universal human birthright.
