Sharpton could be a big problem for the Dems
Similar to how Pat Buchanan's scary rhetoric turned off many Americans and caused problems for the Republicans in 1992.
Buffoon or not, if Sharpton does fairly well in the early 2004 primaries, the Democrats won't be able to ignore or dismiss him. He'll have to invited to public debates and even given a prime time slot to speak at the convention.
