I have no particular loyalty to the Democratic Party. It's just that this place is dominated by conservatives, who tend to think that if you're not a loyal Republican, you must be a loyal Democrat, which is a mistake in my case. In 2000 I voted for Nader mainly because I thought both the Democratic and Republican candidates were deplorable, and if that happens in 2004, I'll vote for a third party candidate again. You can be damn sure I'd never vote for Sharpton just because, through some improbable fluke, he ends up the nominee. If the Democrats go down in flames, well, ta-ta...
