Have Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Yemen, Kurdestan, Uzbekistan, etc, etc. used weapons of Mass destruction on their own people? - No

Have their governments threatened the US? - No

Are they sorry contries? - Yes.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia in particular are a likely source of terrorists and far from democratic countries. A devout Muslim and Pakistani derided the Pakistani bribocracy while condemning Israel and defending Plestinians in the same conversation. However the people of both are far better off than Iraqis or Afghanis.

Do you suggest the US attack every country that does not meet our ideals? I think not. I don't believe Bush or Colin Powell takes warfare lightly. A threshold of brutality and/or danger must be crossed. Most Americans believe that is the case for both Iraq and Afghanistan.

It's not a perfect world. Don't expect perfect solutions.

The French attitude is not one based on morality but rather protecting their own interests and self importance. Chirac's own comments towards Eastern Europe make this clear.
