No SARS cure in sight
According to US health officials, no treatments tried so far have been effective against SARS. As it is suspected to be closely related to the common cold virus, it may be very difficult to treat. Even if a vaccine is developed, such viruses mutate quickly and new strains appeare that are not affected by older vaccines.
