Treating the symptoms
It appears that some people develop less severe cases and recover. That offers hope that, with rapid diagnosis, the worst of the symptoms can be controlled sufficiently to allow patients to recover. Antibodies harvested from those who recover will offer the best opportunity to research a vaccine.
As usual, those at greatest risk are health care workers. I wonder what this will do to our already evident shortage of nurses.
