If I had a dollar for every time someone in the military or CIA or something pops up and tells everyone that they found some mind-bogglingly useful information on terrorism or Iraqi forces, and then proceeds to tell us exactly what it is.

Computer drive found detailing location of all terrorists in (fill in the blank)!

You can think of quite a few of these yourself, I bet. Hey, tell us the juicy details after you've CAUGHT the bastards!

A military official told Reuters that U.S. forces took control of a jailhouse at Hindiya and found maps for the defense of the city, detailing where Iraqi forces were camped.

Not any more, they ain't. And this isn't a loudmouth reporter, it's a loudmouth military official.

Some people have said that blowing this information to the public is all Part Of The Plan. Doesn't sound like much of a plan to me under the circumstances...
