Dearest Mary Anne,

Being a reporter myself.....(Shhh, just between you and me LOL) I'm very aware of the FOIA.

I do, however, understand that it is not an "Open Sesame" for any bit of information that someone in the public, or the media for that matter, takes a whim to demand on the spot.

Matters of national security, and protecting the privacy and rights of victims are both perfect examples.
