Might have been the defense spending though. For revenue to rise with a rate cut the volume has to go up. Republicans often claim this will happen and I'm sure it often does short term with people making sure they cash in before another change, but I have never seen any data clearly indicating it helps long term.
Plus it should raise the old BS detector alarm on perfect easy solutions. Anyone telling you can do what feels good without any negative consequences is usually taking advantage of you.
