A demohack controlled congress hell-bent to over spend caused the deficits.
The tax decreases allowed the economy to grow fast enough to over come the dems by the 1990's.
The fact that % rates plummted through the 1980's puts your claims to bed.
The tax cuts are needed to stimulate our economy.
Spending discipline would keep it going. Unfortunately neither party seems capable of spending desicipline for long.
That is a grave weakness of democrat rule, even in Republics.
