Not finding WMD will make it that much more difficult to convince other nations to join us next time we are getting ready to knock off a rogue state. Other than that, it's academic. Few people will make that their deciding issue when voting.
The occupation of Iraq has now become a tremendous opportunity to give arabs everywhere the same rights we all have in the West. The boldness of this idea is exciting and compelling. I believe strongly in democratic capitalism. Its long-term effect in the Arab World will be a positive development.
