Of course science is good, tech is good, space is a place we need more people and the majority of humanity needs to stop living on Earth! The sky is blue! These things could not be more obvious. Now convince the President, Congress and John Q. Sixpack to pay for it. They won't!
I do this stuff for a living. The whole infrastructure is crumbling around me. I feel like one of the guys who shovelled coal on the Titanic.
