I think I understand the situation from firsthand experience better than you do, Rob. I stand by my analysis of Cheney and his support for gay marriage. I don't go as far as bowser in claiming it's just self-interest, and I do accord him sufficient humanity to care about his daughter. But the claim that Cheney gives a rat's ass about anybody outside his family and circle of political cronies is just too bizarre to consider.
You do recall, don't you, that Dick Cheney to this day stridently maintains that torture is a good thing?
