over 100,000 American troops landed in France to end the Nazi occupation. Before the war was over, millions more would cross the ocean to fight in France. Tens of thousands of them died.

Today, I wouldn't cross the street to piss on Chirac if his clothes were on fire.

Over 60,000 American servicemen killed in WWI and WWII are buried in France. Their soil defiles our dead. Forgive and forget my ass.
