The fact that I'm incensed at people who regard "stuff" as more important than souls is not indicative of a dry drunk. It is indicative of someone who has a value system which includes concern for more than just me. And anyone who sees that as a dry drunk is spiritually empty, nothing there, no one home. Oh, they can read, they can try to think their way into something they aren't, and the bottom line is there is an empty ego looking for fast fixes.
That's the conservative philosophy, though conservatives don't like facing the truth. Just hate it when it's described the way it is, without the platitudes which mean the opposite of what they say.
