Illogical

As the ever increasing number of mass graves attest to the horror of Saddam Hussein's rule, the real crime isn't Bush's and Blair's courageous decision to launch a war to disarm and remove him, the real crime was the complete inaction - or worse yet the complicity - of many nations and international organizations throughout Saddam's long, bloody reign of terror that cost nearly 2 million lives in Iraq, Iran and throughout the region. Isn't that just a tad worse than the sacrifice of the 5,000 (your figure, might be accurate) in order to bring a halt to the Baathist nightmare in Iraq??

The US and the UK don't have one damn thing to apologize for, except perhaps for not removing Saddam back in 1991 when we really should have done it.
