Wonder why? Not really, yet really. Par for the course on this issue, but it amazes me how so many intelligent people on this board have blinders on certain issues. This probably includes me although like the rest I don't see it. I do usually try and address every good counter-argument I see, but the silly ones (to me) I don't bother replying too may seem just as telling to those who preesent them as the key arguments I make and see others make that are continuously ignored by the other side.
Folks you're just wasting your time when you do that. You're not going to convert anybody by ignoring their strongest arguements against your stance. You sound like a mindless drone repeating the same arguments and ignoring the same counter arguments over and over. Not to mention repeating the same story with trivial variations over and over with the same questionable root source. I'm talking about lots of issues here and at the space board not just WMD.
All the pointless going in circles lately has greatly diminished my enjoyment of these boards. If the intelligent people here can't reach rational consensus or at least come close, it's depressing to think of the hotter and more crucial situations elsewhere in the world.
