The point is the Mars Society folks have no respect for the NASA planetary protection program or any other views on planetary protection. Instead they aimlessly set unrealistic goals of colonizing Mars when it fact it cannot ever happen until the issue of life on Mars has been settled. That will take pretty much the rest of your lives.

Your commander and chief Robert Zubrin continues to make a spectacle of himself with his baseless theories that Martian microbes would be harmless if brought to Earth and in fact has said many times they rain down upon Earth routinely.

Your support of people running around in fake canvas space suits with garbage can lid space helmets says it all. You are all about fantasy and live in a fantasy world where playing spaceman on Earth is all you can boast. You say this is real research!

Go ahead, make fun of the real scientists who have had experiemtns sent to the surface of Mars, because I'm sure you and your "society" are all a great big laugh to them. You are one pathectic group of worshipers.

So go ahead Chris and Mark -- go play Mr. spaceman on Mars, it is all you can come up with...
