At best, all you are doing is ARBITRARILY STATING WMD existed in 1998 and then asking "how do you explain where they went".

As far as it negating the argument that Bush MIGHT have made up the WMD claims, or been incompetent- its a non starter.

If he went off of 1998 intelligence data to launch a war in 2003 on what the status of Iraqi WMDwas supposed to be in 2003- well, thats incompetence.

If he took the 1998 data and said "we know saddam has WMD right now, and where they are right now"- then he is lying from the get go.

And by the way: show me the supposed affirmative statements or documents from 1998- or is this another Space Alien claim. [In fact, I bet it is]. I bet we will end up with a state department or CIA whitepaper saying to the effect "it is likely that" or "it is reasonable to assume".
