Bush had plans to go into Iraq almost from Day 1.
Their war was planned at least 6-8 months BEFORE the invasion (maybe even YEARS....)
All the speeches, all the threats, all the boogers under the bed were nothing more than a carefully scripted play, so everybody would rally behind him.
I think he even paid off all the major news networks, as they coined the phrase "war with Iraq" MONTHS before the invasion and fed it to us 24/7.
A friend of mine works with Tommy Franks' attache' and KNEW we were going in around St. Patty's day a few months before Christmas! So did I.
