Another factor to consider...
Considering the massive amount of Arabic anti-American propaganda that has been steadily pumped into Iraq since the war, and the lack of opposing information from coalition sources,* it seems to me that the results are actually better than one might expect. The effects of the propaganda can be seen in the poll's questions on the reasons for the war. Even American leftists don't think we went to war just to placate Israel.
*One place we really dropped the ball is failing to immediately set up other news sources in Iraq besides the usual Arab sources. One hopes this is being handled more effectively now.
