I would bet pigs can do some odd things in a field, but having seen the archetypical crop circles in pictures, and having also seen areas ravaged by pigs, I think I can, with some assurance, agree with Lindy that whatever the answer is for most of the mysterious crop circles, it ain't pigs.
Unless, of course, they have wings...
