Of course, if one was going to have a negative opinion of Bush based on this particular scenario, one would have to assume that had we left Saddam alone for the next twenty years that those same weapons of mass destruction (and whatever else Saddam might have developed in the interim) would never have left the country or been sold to whoever the hell Saddam wanted to sell them to.
Do you buy that assumption? I don't.
