Are you planning to beat someone with a bat or a shovel?
I'm hesitant to respond because the whole premise disturbs me.
Two equally matched and equally fit people are nonexistent. Nobody is equal. Everyone is different. Someone will have the upperhand either through experience, coordination or somesuch detail.
If it were actually possible that they were both exactly equal - including in the mental arena, where combat first is initiated and conducted - then they would fight to a draw because they would be able to utilize each tool equally well and anticipate the other's actions.
However, in real life - no one truly wins this sort of conflict. It creates a set of waveforms which now are carried within your consciousness and act as homing beacons in the future for those waves - counterpart waves which will equate to a serious a--whuppin later if one strikes out at another in hatred. Self defense is one thing but assault is another.
Poetic justice? Irony? Fate? No...just infinite justice. It's not instantaneous balance or justice unless one looks at it from a fourth dimensional perspective and here in the good ol' 3rd dimension it may seem that folks get away with lots of stuff - but from the bigger picture they never do.
