>>>It only seems like esoteric rubbish until you are minding your own business and suddenly get whacked with a baseball bat on the back of the head by a mugger. As one is lying on the ground losing conscousness the last thing one recalls is beating the tar out of some kid in the fifth grade and knocking them out. Suddenly all the esoteric rubbish becomes perfectly clear - but only for a moment.<<<
You've failed to work within the parameters that were given in the first post. While I do appreciate you trying to think outside the box, what you did say and have said is esoteric rubbish.
>>>In fact, the best soldiers are completely unemotional and do not hate their enemy at all.<<<
You have obviously never met any members of the armed forces. Furthermore, you have never sat down and had a heart to heart with a United States Marine. The Marines aren't trained to be mindless robots. They aren't trained to be emotionless. They are trained to be killers. They are trained to channel the emotions they have to become killing machines. The government doesn't want robots. They want killers.
What you meant to say was that the best soldier is the one who doesn't let emotion get in the way of the orders they have been given. As stated above, this is not to say they are emotionless. Passion, anger, fear and the struggle to overcome it... these are things that drive a soldier.
