Who held up Clinton response to terrorism? His lack of response was always one of the things I was irritated with him with from day one and I voted for him both times so your right wing comment is even more BS.
Clinton was a brilliant and charismatic man with one big flaw. No moral compass. He went where the polls blew and seldom paid any attention to issues that the public was not focusing on. At the time I preferred that stance to Republican's ramming their vision (no matter how it differed from the majority's) down everyone's throught. I still do to some extent, but we are at a critical point where we need a real leader who can think ahead of public opinion while not blithely ignoring it as Bush does.
