The vicious despot and his cronies are wasting vast resources on weapons with very little actual military while their cannons, battlefield rockets and troops languish.
I think they will end up like Argentina against the British: An army capable of pretty marches and domestic repression, but not worth a flip for much serious fighting.

Tjey may in fact get a bomb or two off; it is clear they have never acted in good faith for many years. The weapons they are threatening us with now are probably several years old. But if they do geta wmd off, it will be the equivalent of a cornered criminal committing suicide by rushing the cops with his gun blazing.
We have given in to NK extortion through the 90's, we have fed their starving masses, relieved their self-induced shortages, and negotiated in good faith. The fools in NK think they can bluster their way to long term stability bycontinuing to blackmail.
Those days are over, fortunately.
