Arnie is ill-equiped for the job because he actually believes it could prove to be the springboard to bigger political fortunes (the Presidency)...California will chew him up just like it did all the other Presidential hopefulls who sought that office (look at Grey Davis, Jerry Brown, and/or Pete Wilson...their use of the CA govenorship as a springboard to the Presidency all ended up being a springboard into near oblivion)

California is in for massive tax increases no matter what... No matter who wins: They just won't be able to resist the urge.

What's sad is, when it all catches up with California, and the California economy goes into a complete depressison, CA will probably take the whole country with it.

Then the real sheoe will drop: You'll then be hearing calls from the left and right in California..."We need a Federal bail-out"

And California being the big electoral prize that it is, you will have politicians in Washington falling all over themselves to deliver the irresponsible CA voters, politicians, et al. from their self-imposed debts.

I wish it weren't so.
