Citizen participation

Hey. What's with this "stifle people" junk. All the decision did was delay the vote - probably to March. This probably means a larger voter turnout because it is the presidential primary. Are you opposed to a result based upon higher citizen participation?!?

Aw, save the "noble" act for the media. Guess which political party is going to have the highest turnout for a presidential primary? Guess which political party would dominate a special recall election? You think that wasn't the whole point of this delay? The problem with the October election was a fear by the Democrats that the "right" citizens wouldn't vote.

Of course, the whole recall thing is a sick little joke anyway. With a 135 candidates ranging from porn stars to naked body builders, how could anyone take the thing seriously to begin with?

Hey, just hearing the Democratic Party get all indignant and horrified at the very idea of a marijuana-toking "sexual predator" getting into the governor's office was worth the price of admission all by itself. ROTFLMAO!

And I'm not voting for a porn star or a body builder. I'm voting for Tom McClintock. But that's not what Democrats want to hear, is it?
