"NewsMax has been saying that Ms. Clinton IS running for President in 2004 for the past 12 months. All Ms. Albright is doing is speculating on her chances if she chose to."
Why does Albright and Rose talk about it? Everyone knows Ms Clinton hasn't announced she is running. Why do News give surveys with Ms Clinton leading the Dems? Why would they put someone who isn't even running in the survey? Ms Albright was a US ambassador do you think she just is entertaining idle speculation? Do you think she didn't know what topics they were going to discuss?
Maybe, all Ms Clinton is doing is preparing the ground for '08. But it is possible to run for president without going through the "normal procedures". There is no advantage for Ms Clinton to enter the race early- her problem won't be name recognition.
Ms Clinton is running for president, when or if she makes the decision to step beyond the "point of no return" by publicly declaring it is merely a political decision.
