Great article, really exposes the situation

......not. Let see, the article says the EU is in trouble because the people are only working 35 hours a week. The pensions are too high. I guess this means the people are having too high a quality of life, too much leisure time.

The military in the EU is too small and weak. May be true, I don't see Germany or France invading anybody.

We can tell Europe is in a decline because their standard of living and the quality of life of the people is too good? Maybe a better measure of the decline might be no one has any faith in the currency? Perhaps the national debts of the European nations is too high?

Or maybe those poor European are so depraved because they are deprived, after all they don't have a Bush to stand behind.

Time to ask the question, are we doing so much better than our European cousins that we have room to gloat and applaude our system? Should the US really be proud that both the Japanese and Germans build cars in the US because Americans work cheaper and longer hours than their own people? Is this something we should be proud of?

Actually, I guess I didn't really think all that much of the article.
