Candide
You remind me of that story Candide by Voltaire in which it is always the best of all possible outcomes. In the story he encounters disaster after disaster and alwys keeps his positive attitude, saying how lucky he was. It terrifies me to imagine what disasters would have to be caused by Bush to have you admit he did something wrong. Radioactive fallout from a North Korean attack, not so bad really. Great depression economy giving plenty of time off, bound to bounce back any decade now. Trillion dollars invested in Iraq, will trickle down back no problem.
