Tom,
I do not know of ANYBODY left or right that is "pro-Castro". Just as I am unaware of anybody that was pro Saddam. Sure, I guess if you look hard you can find such apologists, just as I am sure they are the ones that get the most press- not because the press is on their side, but because the press loves to cover the outrageous...
The problem with you, Tom, is that you tend to choose the fringe nutcases on the left and say "look what the left is up to now!". I could do the same to the right, Tom, and I assure you you would be quite offended...
Now does wanting to lift embargoes and travel restrictions with Cuba make someone "pro-castro"? No, I think the SOB should have died long ago but I support lifting of the restrictions. What would happen if we lifted the restrictions? Think about it! Castro, if he were smart would panic... Why the heck do you think he bans books and info from the free world? He knows that isolation of his people is the only way he can keep his grip! Why do you think all the repressive regimes ban contact with the free world? The concept of freedom is infectious!
In short, cut out the setting up of a straw-man leftie! That is what Rush did all the time...
PS Is your Oxycontin holding out? ;)
