Castro, of course, is an old man. He can't live forever and when he passes there will be an important opportunity for change. If we are smart and engage in wise diplomacy, we could very well see Cuba become free without bloodshed or acrimony.

The "bloodshed and acrimony" involves direct relatives to U.S. citizens, and is going on daily today. ...But I guess we could wait him out -- and we can then await the death of Felipe Perez Roque and his protégé, and current foreign minister. I think he‘s 39 now. And Roberto Robaina (47), a former foreign minister, is also in the post-Castro era leadership finals -- along with many others.

Just thought I'd throw that into the fire. You see, nobody rules with a iron fist without setting up a proper dynasty -- except the Huns.
