Good cripes

TOM: "If you own a car, but your next door neighbor can tell you where to buy your gas, where to get tires, what seat covers you can have, what color the car should be, how fast you can drive, how many passengers can ride with you, what hours you can drive, and where you can park, does it really matter which of you has the pink slip?"

MY REPLY: Good gawd. What an idiotic statement.
Please show me what law anywhere gives my neighbor the right to tell me where to buy gas and tires? Since when does my neighbor have the right to tell me what seat covers I can have and what color my car should be? Please find me one "liberal" in Congress that advocates for these things. That's just about the most stupid analogy I've heard you offer yet.

As far as how fast I can drive, I hope you aren't suggesting that speed limits are socialism and pro-Castro?!? And since when are on-street parking regulations designed to protect public safety signs of creeping communism?!?

In this remark, Tom, you have proven yourself to be an absolute ignoramous. You are living proof of the dumbing down of America. I can't you believe you would actually take yourself seriously here.

TOM: "The fact that you can't wrap your mind around the simple idea of a privately-owned airport shows the paradigm problem I have to deal with."

MY REPLY: The fact that there are virtually no privately-owned international airports in this country illustrates how silly your "paradigm problem" truly is. There are good functional reasons why government runs international airports, Tom. And there's nothing the least bit socialistic about it. And yes there are privately-owned airfield - big deal. This doesn't make public airports socialism. What an idiot - an absolute idiot.
