The argument is about efficiency and optimum strategies not whether Bush is capable of moving things in the right directions.
It's like you go to the doctor with a wart on your hand and the doctor cuts your arm off. What are you complaining about the doctor says, I cured your wart didn't I?
What Bush has done to the economy is equally ridiculous, except he hasn't even cured the wart yet.
