How do you redefine status quo as more isolated? I honestly don't know how people can look at themselves in the mirror reporting in such a distorted fashion. The UN was never a significant factor and the obvious weakness exposed by its withdrawal makes the whole UN involvement cause an absolute farce. A point made over and over here by conservatives and independents but totally lost on liberals. This is the same weakness that was obvious prior to the war. An inability to take any forceful action to deal with tyrants and murderers. In addition, more countires are providing significant aid such as Jordan's police training.
