What could happen in Iraq is the division of the country in 3: the Kurds in the north....Do you think Turkey will accept this?
The Shi-ites in the south, with an islamist republic.....Bin Laden would love it!
The Sunnis in the middle, with Baghdad and their Leader still at large and their urge to see the troops out of their country.

If the US is there to stay for a long time, the Americans will forget why their troops are there at all. And when they'll finally realize (with lots of soul searching from the hardest conservatives) that it had no connection with 9/11 nor with Weapons of Mass Destruction (no threat to the US), they're going to ask for more accountability.
